Orange Delight Adrenal Cocktail

This is the adrenal cocktail I reach for when I want something refreshing but grounding, especially in the afternoon when stress and cravings tend to spike. I tested a few versions of the viral adrenal cocktail trend, and while they look great on social media, many of them are overly sweet or feel harsh on an empty stomach.
I tested this a few times to get the balance right so it still tastes like a treat, not a supplement drink.
The Key Adrenal Ingredients
Oranges are naturally rich in vitamin C, which plays a role in adrenal support and cortisol regulation. Pairing citrus with minerals and healthy fats helps slow sugar absorption and creates a more stabilizing drink.
Cream of tartar is a natural source of potassium, which plays a role in fluid balance, muscle function, and adrenal support. When cortisol is high, potassium levels can become depleted. Adding a small amount can help support electrolyte balance without relying on processed powders.
The Adrenal Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients (Serves 1)
- 1 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
- 1 quarter cup coconut water
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- A pinch of high quality sea salt or mineral salt
- 1 eighth teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 tablespoon cashew butter or almond butter
- Optional, a splash of vanilla extract
- Optional, ice cubes
How to Make It
Add the cashew or almond butter and cream of tartar into a blender and add the coconut water first to make sure the nut butter starts to blend properly with the liquid ingredients.
Then add in the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth and lightly creamy. Taste and adjust if needed. If you want it slightly sweeter, add a splash more orange juice. If you prefer it lighter, add extra coconut water.
